2020 REVIEW
In 2020, the pandemic football season was hard enough as it was, with all the precautions and extras that it took to have a season. For the Trion Bulldogs, however, injuries also reared their ugly head. For example, their starting quarterback suffered a broken leg in the first game of the season.
“We finished last season with a disappointing record,” says Head Coach Sean Patrick, “but our kids, a young team that battled injuries and quarantines, fought hard. There were several games that we had an opportunity to win and didn’t make enough plays in the end.”
In 2021, Coach Patrick and his Bulldogs will be an experienced football team. After only having four seniors last year, they return the bulk of their team. “We should be much improved,” says Patrick. “Our kids have had an amazing offseason, and we’re looking forward to an amazing 2021 season.”
