The Vibe
Formerly known as El Nopal, the building underwent extensive renovations to become the Las Palmas that it is now, and it truly shows. It is colorful and authentic, and has an upscale feel, but still manages to be warm and inviting. When we entered the new and improved interior, we were greeted with unique and beautiful light fixtures that we were told were hand-crafted by artisans in Mexico. The level of detail and craftsmanship sets the ambience for a unique and unforgettable experience.
Service with a Smile
When it comes to the service at Las Palmas, we also cannot complain. Upon arriving, we were greeted by a friendly host who showed us our table. The members of the team were smiling and genuinely seemed happy to be there and excited to be part of the team. Upon being seated, our server quickly greeted us, and checked on us multiple times during our meal. It was never difficult to find someone if we needed something. The servers all used tablets as they took our order, ensuring the orders were accurately placed and this made the service extremely fast, slashing normal wait times to get our food. Our food was being made as we ordered it.
Unforgettable Food
And then, we get to the food. Las Palmas Rockmart is using an exciting brand-new menu that is cheerful and easy to read as it is just one page (But don’t forget to check the backside too!) But don’t worry–all the Las Palmas classics that we have grown to know and love, like the fajitas, and all your favorite burritos will still be there. But there are also some new must-try options as well. The food is by far some of the best quality Mexican food around and it was presented beautifully. Our only complaint is that we could not try it all. But that also means we cannot spoil the surprise for you because we feel you should try out these delicious dishes for yourself.
An experience you don't want to miss
The opening of Las Palmas Rockmart is certainly an asset for the Rockmart community giving residents and visitors of Rockmart, Cedartown, and the surrounding areas an excellent new dining option. We would implore everyone in the surrounding areas to give it a try as well, even if you already have Las Palmas where you live. Because anyone who does not try it, will be seriously missing out on a fantastic experience.
