An opportunity to serve:
For 25-plus years, the people of Rome and Floyd County have enjoyed the delicious dishes and wonderful atmosphere at Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant. First on Shorter Avenue, then on Riverside Parkway and soon, at 3349 Martha Berry Highway in the Armuchee community.
As the community in and around Rome has grown, so has the Las Palmas fleet of restaurants. With locations in Cartersville, Dalton and Rockmart, along with the 2 current locations in Rome, the Armuchee location will be the sixth brick and mortar Las Palmas in the region.
The opportunity for this new venue came about organically, as long time Las Palmas server and local celebrity, Juan Rojas will be partnering with Owner, Edguard Santos to bring the fine folks of Armuchee a new and exciting dining option.
“Jaun is a face and personality that most of our longtime patrons know and appreciate,” says Las Palmas Marketing Director Glenn Bowman. “He has been interested in opening his own Las Palmas for some time and felt like this location in Armuchee was the perfect spot to do it. We are so excited that he is partnering with Edguard to bring the Las Palmas experience to that area.”
New location, same great food and atmosphere
With renovations underway, it won’t be long before this new location, in the Food Lion shopping center will be up and running. The hiring process has already started with a yet unannounced grand opening but Bowman hinted that we could expect an opening in late August or early September. For those interested in applying you can get more information on the Las Palmas website at https://laspalmasmexicanrest.com/
One thing the people of Armuchee can count on is the customer experience that Las Palmas has always delivered. From the food to the custom interior design, customers will be immersed for the duration of their meals and merriment.
“One of the great things about Las Palmas is that all of the decor is unique and a lot the pieces are one-of-a-kind,” says Bowman. “A good portion of it is hand-made in Mexico and imported to the US through our distribution company, Santos Distributors. Each one of our locations has a wow factor when it comes to the interior design and Armuchee will have its own unique vibe.”
It's time to get excited
So, get excited Armuchee, Las Palmas will open its doors before you know it and that means great food and great times are coming your way.
“We are thrilled about this opportunity to be a part of the Armuchee community,” says Bowman. “There is so much growth and potential with the airport, tennis center and Berry College and more. We are looking forward to opening our doors to this thriving community in the coming months.”
