Lightbulb Moments
We’ve had a relationship with Matthews Lighting and Electric since around 2022.
We decided we wanted to look at buying a new house and there were a lot of things that we wanted to do to make it ours. That involved a lot of electrical work like new outlets and new lights.
After moving in, I noticed one area at the bottom of my stairs, it was just dark. So I said, hey, I need a closet light and with a quick call, I had one.
I think I was home most of the time when Camryn would come to the house. He always made sure I understood everything and explained the different scenarios for each job. Why you would do this versus this, and what the benefits were.

And so we started thinking well we need more things done. I need some outlets back here in my laundry room. We need some more lights. Got us a switch for the pool pump outside the back door so I don’t have to walk all the way out to the pump to turn it off.
They installed our security cameras, and then we had more cameras added. They installed those. I said, hey, you know, I like those floodlight cameras; they put out more light. Well, they put them up and then repurposed our spotlight cameras, so now I have a camera on my building out back, which they ran power to.
It’s amazing how quickly it gets done. And then when the job’s done, I’ve not one time that I can recall had to call them back and say, hey, we’re having a problem with this, because they don’t leave until it’s done right.
You know a lot of companies they come and get the job done quick, get your money and get out of here. That’s not Matthews. It never has been.
