Molcajete

“Molcajete,” which literally translates to a Mexican mortar or Mexican volcanic rock used to grind/mix spices with a pestle, is as eye-catching as it is yummy!

It consists of grilled chicken, steak, chorizo and shrimp and is cooked with onions, bell peppers and tomatoes. It is topped with shredded cheese, fried baby onions and a fresh jalapeño. All that deliciousness is served on a “molcajete,” which also comes with a side of rice, beans, guacamole salad and tortillas. It is a perfect dish to share or eat alone depending on how hungry you are.
