The race committee is excited about the opportunity to host an in-person event this year when so many races moved to a virtual option. But as always we hope participants walk away with a sense of accomplishment and feeling the warm welcome Berry’s campus offers to all those who visit,” says Lori Fredrick, Director of Berry Elementary and Middle School.

Typically scheduled to take place the first Saturday of Berry’s College’s Spring Break to allow plenty of parking and minimal disruption to college activities with the multiple road closures to host the event. Berry College amended their 2021 Spring Calendar, shortening spring break to only one day to minimize travel by college students. This change meant that the race would have to wait until classes ended in May. “We expect this year’s race to offer the same excellent experience for runners that it has always been,” says Fredrick

As in previous years all race proceeds support Berry College Elementary and Middle school, it’s technology and security purchases, and tuition assistance funds that make Berry accessible to a larger and more diverse community.
